We work diligently to combine past and present genetics to produce our line. Creating our line is and will always be a work in progress as desires and needs continually change. We are committed to the Polled Hereford breed and hope that we can help you with your breed growth.

B&R Herd Sire History – Last 20 years

2000 – 2003 B&R MR LES RC04 (SOD)

RC04 was a BAR JZ TRADITION 434V(SOD) son out of B&R MISS PROPHET RA02(DOD), a BT PROPHET 117P {SOD} daughter, that produced many solid females for our herd. We also used several sons of RC04. Floyd Coen purchased ½ interest in RC04 as a calf and used him in his herd in the late 1990’s.

2003 – 2004 B&R MR HEADLINER RL05

RLO5 was a MSU STAR HEADLINER {SOD,DLF,HYC,IEF} son out of B&R MISS LES RE08 {DOD,HYP}, a daughter of B&R MR LES RC04 {SOD}. RL05 was sold to Staab Hereford Ranch after producing several daughters in our herd.

2006 – 2008 B&R MR WATCHFIRE RP12 {SOD}

RP12 was a GERBER WATCHFIRE 117F {SOD} son out of B&R MISS LES C04 RK20, a daughter of B&R MR LES RC04 (SOD). RP12 produced 2 DOD daughters plus numerous daughters that stayed in our herd for 10+ years. RP12 was sold to Meadowlark Farms.

2009 – 2012 B&R MR TRIPLE 20L RT10 {HYP}

RT10 was a BKR TRIPLE PLUS 73C 20L {SOD,HYP} son out of B&R MISS LEGEND 242 RN01 {DOD}, a daughter of FELTONS LEGEND 242 {SOD,HYF}. RT10 produced 1 DOD daughter plus several good daughters that transitioned out of our herd in the last 5 years.

2012 – 2014 B&R MR TRIPLE RT10 RX02 {HYP}

RX02 was a B&R MR TRIPLE 20L RT10 {HYP} son out of B&R MISS WATCHFIRE P12 RT34 {HYP}, a daughter of B&R MR WATCHFIRE RP12 {SOD}. RX02 sired 2 DOD daughters for our herd and has several producing daughters still in the herd. He was sold to Brian Zimmerman.

2015 – 2018 B&R MR VISION RA04 {DLF,HYF,IEF}

RA04 was a son of SHF VISION R117 U38 {SOD,DLF,IEF} out of B&R MISS PROFICIENT N093 RY05, a daughter of EFBEEF SCHU-LAR PROFICIENT N093 {SOD,DLF,HYF,IEF,MSUDF}. RA04 sired 1 DOD daughter plus several good females that are still active in our herd.

2018 – 2019 B&R MR VISON RA04 RC37 {DLF,HYF,IEF,MSUDF}

RC37 was a son of B&R MR VISION RA04 {DLF, HYF, IEF} out of B&R MISS PROFICIENT N093 RU08 {DLF, HYF, IEF}, a daughter of EFBEEF SCHU-LAR PROFICIENT N093 {SOD, DLF, HYF, IEF, MSUDF}. We have several daughters of RC37 active in the herd. RC37 was sold to Brian Zimmerman.

2019 – 2020 B&R MR SURE BET Z002 RE04 {CHB,DLF,HYF,IEF}

RE04 was a son of EFBEEF U208 SURE BET Z002 {DLF,HYF,IEF} out of B&R MISS TARGET RZ11 {DOD,DLF,HYF,IEF}, a daughter of SCHU-LAR ON TARGET 22S {CHB,SOD,DLF, HYF,IEF,MSUDF}. RE04 has several daughters in the herd. He was sold to David Henke.

2020 - Current We are using two herd sires currently

SHF GAUNTLET B413 G085 {CHB,DLF,HYF,IEF,MSUDF} A son of EFBEEF BR VALIDATED B413 {CHB,DLF,HYF,IEF,MSUDF,MDF} purchased from Sandhill Farms in the spring 2020.

SHF GALVANIZED D256 G331 ET {CHB,DLF,HYF,IEF,MSUDF} A son of SHF DRUMLINE 001A D256 {CHB,DLF,HYF,IEF,MSUDF} also purchased from Sandhill Farms in the spring 2020.
